Dexter - season 4

The fourth season begins several months after Dexter's marriage to Rita and the birth of their son Harrison. Dexter and his family have since moved into a fashionable suburb. However, he has great difficulty balancing act between caring family man and his urge to kill found. In the resultant fatigue it causes a serious car accident. Angel Batista and Maria LaGuerta have begun a romantic relationship, and the rule accordingly urges Maria Angel to report their connection to their superiors. During an investigation into the murder of a young woman who was in a bathtub bleeding to death on a cross section found in the thigh, Dexter meets the now retired Special Agent Frank Lundy unexpectedly. Lundy has been working on the case of a mysterious serial killer, which he gave the name Trinity. He is therefore called the Trinity, because each murder series consists of three people killed, which expires after the same pattern: first a young woman is murdered in a bathtub, secondly, a mother forced to jump from a storage facility and the third is a family man with a subject to death. Lundy has found that these killings have taken place in various cities in the United States over a period of more than thirty years, which would make the Trinity-Killer one of the most successful serial killer in the history of crime. Lundy begins with Debra to working to track down Trinity, before he even begins the next series of murders. For Anton, with Debra now lives in a shared apartment, meets Debra's close work with Lundy on indignation but because he knows their former relationship. His concern turns out to be justified, since Debra finally sleeps with Lundy. On the way home by an unknown assassin shot at the two. Debra survived severe injuries, but Lundy is fatally wounded and died before Debra's eyes.

While Dexter studied the records that Lundy has gathered about the case, he concludes that Lundy has not only killed because he had come too close to Trinity, but also because Lundy had figured out when and where his third Trinity victims would choose. Dexter sneaks into the office building, in which Trinity has rented and is on a surveillance camera eye-witness, a man brutally kills as Trinity. He can no longer prevent the murder, but it creates Trinity on its way to follow to your home. Surprisingly, he finds that his Trinity is very similar: a seemingly normal family man who leads a double life as a serial killer. To protect the department decides Cpt. Matthews, that Angel is transferred from the homicide, but LaGuerta volunteered to transfer to his place. Together they tell Matthews that their relationship was over. Neither is mixed, but Matthews makes clear that he finished her career immediately, should he find out that they have lied.


Dexter attended the same church like Trinity and accepts this before and Kyle Butler. He and Trinity, whose real name is Arthur Mitchell is friends, per se. While Dexter tries to find out what are the real reasons behind Arthur's crimes, he learns to kill his family life like this and the urge has been in line with what Dexter wants to harness for his marriage to Rita. Debra comes to believe that Trinity might be behind the deadly attack on Lundy and takes on the investigation - much to Dexter's chagrin. This family learns the Trinity always know better and see the facade crumble. He realizes that Arthur Mitchell tyrannized his family and suppressed. Dexter accompanied him on a pretext for its next journey, but even though he wants to kill him there, he saves Trinity's life, when he tried to kill herself.

Meanwhile, Debra found out through old files, who is Dexter's mother and that Dexter is the brother of Kühllasterkillers. Back in the town of Dexter finds out that Trinity has more than three victims per series. The first victim is always a little boy who is cast in concrete to preserve "his innocence". Dexter can save him, but Trinity refuge and unmasked Dexter in that it recognizes that this works for the homicide. Dexter sends his family on a pretext of security and, acting on the track. Trinity is to leave the city, but Dexter still feel it on the run and kill him. Trinity's last words are that way or that everything was already over. As he sunk his body in the sea, he realizes he could to protect his family give up the killing. Happy to have taken a decision, he goes home to follow Rita to spend with her the weekend. But he finds them dead in the bathtub and his son Harrison in front, crying in a pool of blood (strong parallel to Dexter's childhood experience). Rita is the last victim Trinity. Dexter Harrison takes on the arm and leaves the bathroom.
